Typical of Piedmont's countryside tradition, this wine is made from the Barbera grapes present in the Alessandria province and partly in the Asti one, where the so called “Vitis vinifera Montisferratensis” thrives. Owing to a gentler palate than the one of the traditional Barbera wine, this variety is ideally suited to the “conviviality” of an aperitif with salami and cheese or to an informal dinner.
