An important wine coming from the most aristocratic and ancient vine in the Alba hills
where grapes ripen swathed in magic Autumn fogs. Mentioned in 1606 by Giovan Battista Croce, the name “Nebiol”, according to this writer, apparently comes from the transposition of the letter of the Italian word “nobile”. “As - he writes - this vine produces generous, vigorous, long ageing wine...” According to tradition, instead, this vine would get its name from the Autumn morning mist swathing the land where it grows.

Nebbiolo. The fruit is medium-big and pyramidal in shape, with slightly oval purple red grapes. |
